No shit, He's a 3rd round pick, you expect him to be ready to go off the bat? He's shown flashes of brilliance, which means when he's not showing those flashes, he's not spectacular, of course he needs better technique. Wilkerson needs better technique too, it's something you learn as you play
Personally I think that what happens in practice day in and day out is far more important than what happens in a fake game where neither team is using even half of their playbook. You'd like to see the offense get some rhythm, sure, but if your job isn't on the line I really don't think that the preseason games matter very much for you.
Absolutely. He is the worst offensive coordinator in the league. Until the Jets hire a new OC, and the armchair fans complain about him being the worst in the league because he doesn't do what they would have done.
Thank you for pointing out something irrelevant to what I said. I never said that playcalling mattered because it doesn't matter. I said the lack of execution matters because it does matter. It's something for the CS to be concerned with and work on in the next two weeks. No teams are in ideal situations, no teams execute rounded game plans, but plenty of teams execute well in the PS. You're telling me that a pass hitting Holmes in the back of the helmet isn't something that will concern the CS?
Just tuned in for that drive and it looked ugly, I'm guessing it has been this way the whole 1st quarter?
No I don't... I'm arguing he CAN'T start straight away... not saying he's shit because of it. PS NT is more important than DE... at least for us...
Sanchez looks like he doesn't even want to be there today. Oh well, thank God this is a preseason game.
And never will. It doesn't matter who calls plays for the Jets. The fans who play Madden and backyard football, or who played up through high school, know more about football than the guys who spend their lives doing it.
the bad news?the offense looks out of sync tonite the worse news? the game thread posts are in midseason form
