Simms not looking that good in a very important game. Maybe we should look to see if the Rams want him.
But But But he looked so good in this most meaningless of games last year against players who are now pumping gas somewhere. In fact, numerous people wanted him to start all of last season based solely on his performance in this piece of crap game of scrubs vs scrubs. You can't judge a player on any one preseason game, let alone this awful game. Simms has a body of work that lets you know he will never ever be an NFL QB - he couldn't even win the job as a college QB. There is not an NFL QB in recent memory that had the really poor numbers Simms had in college. A good college career does not lead to a successful NFL career, but a college bust never becomes an NFL QB. Name one. Anybody. Simms will never be more than a third string NFL QB and he may not have that job for long.
Yes, especially when being graded in the final pre-season game. You get graded on making the right decisions and throwing to a wide open receiver is always the right decision, if the guy doesn't catch it he gets downgraded. as a QB it's your job to make the right decision, it's the other guys job to execute on his side.
