    i'd much rather start mcelhroy. he doesn't make those dumbass throws that lead to picks like sanchez does. the new england guys on comcast ne always say that sanchez has no awareness of the rush and no zip in his arm. felger and mazz say that if they were a jets fan, sanchez would make them pull their hair out. jsut when you think they're going to do something, sanchez will make a dumbass throw for a pick.

    And honestly I wouldn't mind Riley taking Schilens' spot on the final 53.

    Lots of nice plays by certain players tonight. Still, it's hard to say how they'd do against 1st string competition but it looks like the Jets have a couple young WR's they can work in this season. Ganaway and Powell are doing okay too.

    just something to note..

    Lanning has punted every time so far. that says to me they are taking a real serious look at him tonight...this isnt a light a fire pickup.

    Hmmm. Interesting. Couldn't G&P But, the rest of the game was fun and encouraging. Can't wait for the rebroadcast on NFLNet.

    Well, we got a TD finally but overall it was mostly McElroy scrambling or connecting on some good passes (mostly Riley). As for the run game I can only remember one good McKnight run, for the rest both him and Powell died as soon as thy reached the LOS.

    McIntyre is a great tackler

    Riley should be on this team

    Coples has 4.5 sacks this pre-season

    Harrison gets great penetration

    Davis is gonna be the next big thing at ILB
