I still want to win this game, and win big. Even if the help we need doesn't come through. I don't want it to be the Dolphins to end the season. I'd rather us win, and not get help meaning, we fucked ourselves.. I mean, I do want to get into the playoffs, but I can't take Schotty any longer. LEAVE HIM IN MIAMI.

Tank the game, take the better draft pick.

Why go to the playoffs? Just so we can lose again?

Win this game first and foremost, the teams that have to lose for us to make the playoffs are all in very losable games IMO with the exception of maybe Tennessee but I still think even they will fall.

Going in with low hopes so you never know maybe they will suprise me.

I don't think we beat Miami. They have been one of the better teams in the league the second half.

I think Cinncicnati is going to beat Baltimore and the Ravens will be playing in the wild card round.

I do think Tenesee will lose to Houston and I do think either Oakland or Denver will lose.

You never know though I can see any one of the four games going either way.

I'm not too sure about Cincinnati beating Baltimore, the ravens still need this game and I THINK the Ravens are at home where they are undefeated. This is a serious must-win game for the Jets so I really don't think the team will lay an egg at Miami granted they have been playing outstanding this half of the season I feel pretty good about our defense shutting down their offense.

This is going to be another tough game. Long being out will help us a lot though. Who will be playing LT for them anyway?

I think there is a good chance John Jerry starts at left tackle. I think he was our 3rd round pick last year. Not this past draft but the one before it. Most people were calling him a bust, but recently he's been playing very well. He filled in at right tackle and right guard this year and played really well. He also had a start at left tackle a couple of games ago and played pretty well. I'm sure he can be exploited tho.

If the Jets are going to win this game, it is going to have to be on the defensive side of the ball. The Dolphins defense has been playing great the past 8 weeks. I only saw the 1st half against the Patriots because of Christmas Eve, but they were playing incredible. You don't shut out the Patriots in a half without playing anything short of great. Obviously the 2nd half was a different story, but they showed they can play very very good at times. So I think we'll do a number on your offense. Should force Sanchez to throw and he's going to have to make plays.

Our offense has been playing pretty well also. Moore has been good, not great. Fumbles are becoming a problem. And because he takes so much shots up the middle of the field, he can be prone to mistakes like throwing a little too high. The difference in this game I think will come down to turnovers. Both defenses can force them. It's just going to depend on which offense limits the mistakes. It will probably be a close game, but I'm expected a win for my fish. Edit: Most likely it will be a closer game, but I also think the fish could put it on you guys. So my prediction is going to reflect that.

    My predictions is 28-13 dolphins

Even as a Patriots fan, I'm rooting for the Jets this week. I'd love a rematch in the second round. 13% odds are tough to overcome but, like Rex said, all the Jets can do is focus on what they control.

    Miami 35
    Jets 21

Ryan will praise everybody in the organization, attempt to put the blame of this lost season on himself to deflect the criticism, then predict another SB for 2012. Schotty walks the plank before draft day '12.

Jake Long is out, on the IR now.

I will be at the game on Sunday, and looking forward to a big Jets win!

The odds of a team beating another 3 times in a season works against the Patriots. That and the fact that the Jets D can flumox Brady on occasion.

BUT the Patriots have been playnig pretty lackidasical recently and I could think of nothing better to focus the Patriot players then to have the Jets in front of them. They hate these guys and would absolutely be motivated to whip them.

Almost the perfect opening matchup for the Patriots.

Our Oline is going to fucking pathetic now...

Couple of games ago vs the Eagles, Long goes out and then our line gave up 9 sacks...

Jets will commit to the run early and not go away from it even if it isn't working. I expect a lot of 3 and outs with people complaining why aren't they throwing more. Low scoring game - jets lose on a late FG -- insult to injury everything else falls right if we would have won we would have made the playoffs.
