This is true, absolutely they are a mirror of us in a sense ... regardless we need to continue to have Sanchez throw the ball through the air and not put it on the running game to win this, a nice mixture of both And just the way we executed our plays, no drops ... defense played extremely hard ... we just have to continue to make plays, we do that and were looking good That's what I meant in a sense, can't have the same game plan obviously, but your right BTW, We all thought that Cromartie had tough times against Brandon Marshall, however we are incorrect guys as it seems http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast
Exactly I found this article very intriguing, he knows Marshall's tendencies, they are both physical players, and you know Cro is going to have some things to say about Marshall to the CS ... Cro is healthy and is looking to exact revenge on Marshall for that game I'm looking forward to that battle
^^^^^^ What's worse, they ripped it off. It originally was the Houston Oiler's fight song during the Bum Phillips era.
revis out 1-2 weeks with a strained hammy http://sports.espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/news/story?id=5596781
First: I love the JT jersey burning clip. Second: You guys already lost three straight to us. If/when we win this weekend, it will be four straight. third: our defense is a lot better than you guys give credit for. I think the way both teams are playing right now, we split the season series -Keller (the only Jet I like) will have a nice game against us -Sanchez is going to struggle on the road against us -Henne will have another mediocre day vs your defense but we win another close one 17-16.
If there is such a thing as a good time, maybe this is it. The Fish will be tough, but these are winnable games without Revis. Let him heal up and be 100% when he gets back.
Eh??? I think the Pats will/would have been the stiffer task, by far. The one thing we need from this game is consistency. From stinking in week 1 to walking on sunshine yesterday......perleese!
Cro has done well against Marshall in the past http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/18538/marshall-cromartie-may-renew-rivalry
God I fucking hate the Dooshfins and their fans. Revis is out 1-2 weeks with his hammy so that does bring down the expectations for us a little bit but not enough to the point where I think the Fins even have a remote chance at beating us. They are by far the worst offense we've played up to this point and the Ravens were held to 10 (thanks to a end zone PI call or that was 2 FG's at most all game) and the Pats only put up 14.... Fins may be lucky to get 6 even without Revis. There will be Henne vagina forehead prints all over Rainbow field Sunday night. I hope he's just bangin his head on a wall for the week to get it used to being pounded on. Jets 23 Fins 6
I think this game is going to boil down to two things: time of possession and stamina. The one thing that stood out to me last year during our first match-up was how totally unprepared our defense (especially Kris Jenkins) seemed to be for the Miami heat. Guys like Marques Douglas and Jenkins didn't have a drop left in the tank by the 4th quarter. Hopefully, with a svelter set of linemen (Taylor, Gholston, Pouha) we'll be able to match-up against Miami's running game. Their passing game, IMO, only comes into play if we consistently offer them 2nd/3rd and shorts. Henne's a decent young quarterback, but he hasn't seen enough of our blitzes to make plays consistently in third and long situations.
