Someone said it best earlier in the thread, any speculation and stat comparisons and anaylisis that will be put in here all week will be thrown out the window come sunday night. This is a rivalry game, the dolphins could lose every game all year and be the worst team in the league, but when it comes to a Jets Dolphins game it truly is any given sunday...<_<

I think its gonna be a hell of a game.

    You're an idiot.

Henning is one of the best OC's in the game.

    Behind Weis..

Those two guys can make chicken salad out of chickensh!t.

I feel like Rex has been planning on this game all season even more then the patriots game. He does not want another sweep by the dolphins so our D is going to bring it this game. IF dolphins do manage to win it will be because our offense blew it with turnovers or just a week 1 kind of effort. Jets win 17-7

Tell that to the giants and broncos last year. 2 wins is jack shit. Apparently the dolphins buccs and chiefs are the best teams in the league so far.

No, your an idiot. You probably haven't watched either of Miamis games this year, or you wouldn't be spewing at the mouth like that. Hennings philosiphy......run run run run, pass run run run run run run run pass run run run run run. And if he is so great, why did you guys get rid of him?

I expect the game to be very close. Miami's defense has looked fantastic so far. It's probably a 17-14, 21-17 type of game.

    Regime Change.

I'd take him over the guy we have now..and twice on Sundays

Get a grip...Miami managed to be 15th in Team Offense last year, with Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown being basically the only skill position players of note.....

2 big players, both RB's and managing to get to 15th, with Henne....That's a pretty good job.

Dan Henning is a great OC. You're nuts if you think otherwise. If he's running more than throwing, it's because they are built more for running, and he can run this particular offense more effectively that way. I mean, you really want Henne throwing the ball 45+ times a game? Seriously?

Back to the game, this should be a damn good one. I have much more faith in Cro than I did before yesterdays game, and I think he can hold Marshall in check as much as possible. He'll get some catches because he's great, but not as many as he regularly does. Cro should be able to keep in relatively in check. The Jets simply have to get to Henne and force him into mistakes. If they give him time, he can be very effective. I think the Jets D can hold the running game down too. I cannot see the Dolphins scoring more than 14 points this game. The question is this: which Jets offense shows up? Obviously if they play like they did against the Patriots, it'll be a romp. But what if the Week 1 offense rears it's ugly head? I guess I'll just hope that doesn't happen.

If we play like we did against the Patriots on Sunday night, it's going to be near impossible for the Fins to beat us

Continue Sanchez throwing the ball, keep his confidence high and we'll roll the Fins to the ground

Let's hope Greene has a break out game, were going to need him

Did any of you guys actually WATCH the fins games this year. The bills, well that didnt need to be watched, the fact that its the bills denotes the fact that it was actually deemed a game and their performance is nullified. But the vikes game? They squeeked one out against a shitty Brett Favre, with no recievers. All this close game crap is just comical. This sunday is going to be Sanchez and co. laying wood to the fins. We win by 14 at the very least.

But we won't play like we did against the Patriots. The coaching staff adjusts each gameplan according to the strengths/weaknesses of the opponent. The Pats running game is anemic, so we were able to keep plenty of guys in coverage. The game will call for a different defensive/offensive scheme because the Pats and Dolphins are very different opponents.

The lyrics I just made on my own, although I have definitely heard the bottom part (Miami Dolphins! x3 Suck! and Dan Marino! Homo!) chanted at the Stadium.
