Ahhhh.... yup! Should have noticed the lack of that transsexual 'eye shadow' shade of green on the buntings. I can't remember though.... did New Orleans offense also fumble the ball on their own 1 yard line to setup Minny's FG's? When you run your mouth like your Vince f'n Lombardi... and then lose - they are all @ss kickings. Well I restrained myself to only listing games in which the current two head coaches had met (Sparano, and coach 0h-fer Ryan).... but I can post a list of my favorites if you wish?
I agree. Right now Buffalo is probably the worst team in the NFL. Minnesota is highly overrated because people are rating them on last years performance. If you take a look at the statistical numbers between the Jets and Dolphins, NY has the better numbers. However, this is a rivalry game so it may be close but if both teams play true to form the Jets will win.
You get to the AFCCG...and lose in the second half, with a Rookie Qb and HC...there were no asskickings. Only lost opportunities.
Ok, the fix is in. There is no chance at all that the Jets will lose this game and if you think otherwise then I hope you bet your house on it. And while you are betting also bet that the winning points won't come on a Sanchez to Edwards pass play.
Here is how I see this weeks match-up (through the eyes of a beat writer for 2010): On the field for the Jets 10/21 B. Edwards arrested for DUI. On the field for the Dolphins: 5/26 DE P. Merling arrested for aggravated assault (On the IR I believe) 3/19 RB Ronnie Brown arrested for DUI 2/20 CB W. Allen arrested for DUI 2/7 DE T. McDaniel arrested for misdemeanor battery Which team seams to have more discipline issues? Here is a link to all of the NFL arrests that the press has forgotten about. The NY media is claiming that it is a big story because it is their local team, but as someone who lives near Atlanta, I can ensure everyone that the sports radio stations down here, who have no reason to hate the Jets (not playing them this season and in a different conference) are blasting the Jets. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/turd-watch/police-blotter/
The first 2 big plays by Miami, 45 yards to Marshall and a TD pass to Hartline had the same defender...Lito Sheppard. Just sayin'
This has to be a statement game. I think with all the controversy surrounding Edwards and the locker room right now, we're going to come out and just blow the fish out of the water. If we win this game we'll be 3-0 in the division, get it done.
I dont think the jets have played bad this season. They could easily be 2-0 and their defense is scary good.
this is the assumption. The bills suck right now, and simply have ZERO offense, there defense doesnt appear all that impressive either. not saying things cant turn around, but if the bills continue along the path they are now, they will be on the clock at the end of the season.
We threw 5 interceptions against them last year and still almost won. We'll need to self-destruct next week to lose to Buffalol. They won't be able to score on us. If the Bills win, it's because they get big plays from Evans, Parrish, Spiller, Lynch, Jackson, or the defense. They shouldn't be able to sustain any drives, so they'll just need to hope we suck on offense, their secondary can make some plays, and they can get a couple long TDs. But we'll worry about that next week.
