Wilson just ran through him with his head not even looking back. That throw is remotely close, that's a flag.

    Yeesh. We'll take it.

Forget about scoring. How about a first down?

When Simms throws a pick-six what happens?

Sorry, but stick Teddy Bridgewater in there and hes not going to do any fucking better. O-Line sucks, WR are CFL level, RBs are average. Unless we get 7 first rd draft picks, 2014 isnt going to be much better

Remember Simms, mediocrity is a major step forward

On a positive note I like how quickly Simms got rid of the ball. Decisive quick decisions will negate many of our protection problems.

This may be Simms 2nd year but essentially he is a rookie in terms of experience. He took no practice reps last year except on the scout team. Our expectations should be the same for any rookie.

Now that we finally got a 3 and out on D hopefully we get a few 1st downs and Simms can provide us with a spark.

Simms has to do better than a 40% completion % and 1:11 td:in ratio, I think he may just pull it off. Although the odds of him being any sort of hidden gem is slim to none, he's going to suck but at least we can go into free agency and the draft knowing that we need a QB, draft one AND sign one, cut all these bums.

    commercials are painful today,
but it's worse to watch red zone and see every other team
    in NFL moving the ball

Good or bad at least Simms does not hold on to the ball.
