This late season meltdown is on Rex. He handicaps his own players... going down the field means risk of turning the ball over. But without risk you get NOTHING. Time for REX to be demoted to DC or fired. This is a offensive mindset league.
He lost his job in college. That's all you need to know. The FO has failed to have a backup QB for 5 years now
The absolute disrespect the teams are showing the offense is unbelievable. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
I feel bad for Matt Simms honestly. He's in a situation he can't succeed and this might be his lone shot to ever do something in this league. His targets are god awful and can't get open, and the offensive line has some of the biggest fucking quitters/dogs in the game. All 5(Vlad sucks dick too) of them should be ashamed of themselves. At least Winters is a rookie. He's the only one with any kind of mulligan....rookie lineman almost never do well in pass protection. Both Qbs have been absolutely fucked over by this shit supporting cast. Sanchez should be lucky he doesn't have to play under this shit supporting cast anymore. He can get out of here and salvage his career elsewhere.
The announcers have no idea if he did or not. They just talked so much shit on Geno and were pushing so hard for their colleague's son to play, that now that he is sucking just as bad as Geno, they have to give excuses why.
You cant really blame a team for losing interest if the coaching staff and GM have no desire to read the tea leaves and see that what Geno did in the first half was so predictable. EVERYONE knew Geno was going to have that first half. He has 3 of the 5 worst qb rated games this year in the NFL. 3 OF THE 5 WORST RATED GAMES. So...if the coach isnt fighting for change...why should the team. That along with a front 7 playing their asses off and a secondary that is the worst in the NFL and we are where we are.
People blaming Rex apparently dont realize he gave the keys to the offense to Marty who is escaping blame for some reason.
Is not the sacks. They just know we can't move it on them. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
I kind of want to lose out to get a higher draft pick, but at the same time I really don't want Rex to be fired and lose every good thing we do have... Decisions, decisions.
He's an ass. But he does have talent, he's played with a great QB. He probably just knows the Jets have no talent running around out there and has pretty much checked out.
To be fair, if not for injury we would either have Sanchez backing up Geno or, more likely, Geno backing up Sanchez. So, yeah, your point is well made.
