Terrel Siggs said it best when he said Sanchez is soft. Suggs said when Sanchez is rushed he panics and gives up. That what he does on almost every rush. He gets happy feet and runs without direction. How many times this year has he panicked and run out of a safe pocket right into a rusher. Or how many times has he shuffled his feet in the pocket do that weird arm extension thing of his and sit there waiting to be hit rather than throwing it away or moving out of the line of fire. Almost all his sacks this year were avoidable and self inflicted.

While I agree it looks like he has no internal clock I think its more than that. He just panics and shuts down rather than making a decision. On the rare occasions where he does move out of the pocket he does it well and becomes so much more fluid and instinctive when he is on the run. He has the ability to avoid rushes. He just freezes and panics when he is rushed.
