I'm pretty sure Manning took one look at the JV team Tanny was fielding this year and went, "Ummm......NO!"
Well let's run 'em down. Buffalo - win with either at Pittsburgh - loss with either at Miami - win with either San Fran - loss with either Houston - probably a loss with either although you could make an argument with this one Indy - win with either at New England - loss with either, the Pats own Tebow's *** Miami - you could make an argument with this one too, it was closer than the 30-9 score and Sanchez was brutal at Seattle - loss with either at St. Louis - win with either New England - loss with either - see above NE game Arizona - this is one you could argue plus Tebow So even a Tebow at his best MIGHT have made a difference in three games, including today. That's the sad part though you can't argue they'd be any worse.
I was talking more about the fact in having blind faith that a QB who can't through would magically make the Jets a team with a winning record just because he's a "winner" with no statistical evidence to back it up. Even if we would be better with Tebow over Sanchez (both suck IMO), considering Tebow can't throw, the difference would be marginal and this would still be a mediocre football team. So to believe that Tebow is the savior requires faith, regardless of Tebow's own beliefs. Also, and while this is irrelevant, Tebow isn't Catholic.
Bingo. People that think we passed on Peyton are delusional. That or our doctors red-flagged him which would have been a mistake in hindsight.
smart move to punt it away. Can't give up the ball @ mid-field. Cards get 3 points & it could be game over.
If the Wildcat was so important, they should have kept Brad Smith (Buffalo just used him in the Wildcat and he ran for a first down).
we love u tim,u are so kindhearted! u should be starting or playing somewhere where your talents are appreciated!!!
everyone saying Tebow cant throw, I know it was just ONE pass, but remember that 40 yard pass he threw perfectly that was dropped earlier this year. I guess that was just lucky...
