Those guys weren't covering. The D-Line was getting to Manning and getting him off his spot, which was causing him to make bad throws and not even get throws off sometimes. The coverage has been shit today and shit all season. Its going to be a huge problem all season because we have non-NFL players at CB.
I agree, but we field a team that has mostly guys who are barely NFL caliber at the skill positions. No one you can trust when you really need a play. I mostly like the long term plan our front office has, but it is fucking us over in the short term. We needed 2 WRs coming into this season, and signed only one.
That was all on the receiver, he needs to know where the sticks are and adjust the route accordingly.
It's so frustrating watching not being able to do or say anything. This is just math, go beyond the marker and you get the down. Yet still so many Jets go before it and get tackled. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Is it going to work in the long term? How do we know that Idzik is going to construct a roster with three or four NFL caliber receivers next season and three or four NFL calibers CB's next season?
I love that me and like 4 other people all posted in caps about the first down marker at the same time
