Holy cow, this thread is mostly about everyone's preconceived notion of what is going to happen, not what is actually happening.
The TD to end the half may have been one of the most important momentum changers for us this season. Despite 6 "almost" plays that would have made this a laugher, at least the players should be going into the locker room with confidence that they've been dominant and despite key plays left on the field, are still in the lead. Sanchez missed pass to Cotch for TD (-4) Lito dropped INT (potentially -7; very likely -3) Edwards blown coverage TD drop (-4) Clowney shoulda, woulda, coulda non-TD (-4) That is MINIMUM 15 pts worth of available, expected to be made, plays left on the field. 31-10 would look a bit better--and allow us to run the ball 30 times in the 2nd half, but I'll be content with a lead and possession to start the half. I think with the 3 passes above, the Sanchise would be rolling at about a 150 QB rating right now.
