Absolutely, Sanchez had lots of time in the pocket today, not to mention the outstanding running game.
One of my favorite things that stood out to me in the game today was Smiths patience on the TD pass, there is gonna be some more of this later in the season.
There's not much to complain about in this one, Sanchez was very good again, the running game was dominant, Slauson was good(we ran btw the tackles effectively for the first time all season), the D was what we should expect against buffalo, STs were good, we cut down on penalties. The only real negative was not putting Buf away in the 1st half then allowing that TD drive to give them life but we quickly ended all hopes in the 3rd qtr. Good teams take care of business, Buf was bever truly in this game. Now let's give favre the Fitzpatrick treatment and show him how much he meant to our team.
I was really proud of the Jets, the way they finished out the game and conducted themselves afterward. By the end of the 3rd quarter you could see that the Bills were demoralized and mentally exhausted. Kudos to Rex and the team to act like professionals and not like the Patriots in running up the score. We do a lot of smack talking but we showed a lot of class yesterday.
Good point. I would have to agree with everything you said. I thought pulling the starters was classy as well as protecting our main players. Although i would have liked to see Brunell through for a TD...
only complaint from the game is the defense falling asleep on that bills td just before halftime otherwise a complete domination by the jets
