Game over, Jets win 26-14. Heading to a 3-2 record, I guess it's safe to say we "beat the the teams we were supposed to be" at this point in the schedule. We have the Raiders next week, and the Kansas City after that. We have a shot at going 5-2 in 2 weeks.
You are entitled to your opinion and I don't know that much about Pennington to say whether or not the team would be 3-2, but I would say that Favre had a bit better than a mediocre game. He drove the team down the field a lot. He had one poor throw for the first INT and the second one was a combination of a poor throw by Brett and a poor adjustment by the WR. Overall, a decent game today by the team. The defense did pretty well with getting pressure on the QB. The offense seemed to be a bit out of synch.
Wow! Alot of Sutton bashing for some reason, Cincy had 1 drive all game and if they review that 3rd down they would have held them tp 3 pts instead of 7. The O was brutal- specifically Favre but I'm glad Favre had one of his clunkers against a team we could afford it against.
The defense won this game, and the jets spotted them 7 points in the begining and still played better thru out
