They can't win. If they don't do shit it's "How come they can't move the ball against the 2nd string?" If they move the ball it's "well it's the second string." Meanwhile there was a boner fest when Vick did it last week against the second team.
I gotta admit, pretty pleased with Geno tonight. One bad pass / miscommunication with Nelson but otherwise I thought he threw the ball well, made good decisions and looked much more poised then last year! That's all you want out of a preseason game. Plus no key injuries which is most important!!!
Haven't seen the game, but offense is putting up good stats so they can't be playing too badly. What happened on Geno's pick?
With two fifteen yard penalties on the drive too! Some people are unbelievable...just no pleasing them.
And he's running smart. He doesn't need read option junk. He just has to pick his spots when the coverage gives him daylight. Well done.
Worried about the right side of the OLine, not even counting the penalties. Teams will be going after Colon and Giacomini so hopefully they will be able to respond. Hoping one of the TEs can help out with the blocking, though right now none of our 3 TEs really excel there. Geno got a raw deal with the penalties so I can't fault him for too much, he and the offense had to get a lot of unnecessary yards due to the personal foul barrage.
These officials are brutal, how's that a personal foul lol I get they want to tone down the bad feelings but that's ridiculous.
