The scary thing is Hackenberg is even worse. Think about the fact that McCagnan has spent to second round picks and a fourth on Devin Smith, Bryce Petty, and Christian Hackenberg.

Still 3 1/2 more games to go, but so far Petty is not showing enough for any commitment going forward. I'm not happy about it, but that was the whole point of playing him, and that's why he gets the 3 1/2 games. Bowles, on the other hand, has shown more than enough to be fired (along with his entire staff) the day after the season ends, if not before.
Dear lord it gets worse, I did have some hope for Petty but he isn't showing anything to get excited about today unfortunately, even if the play calls are poor.
I hope Willie Taggart is a decent coach at Oregon. Otherwise football might get real painful for me.....

What did you guys expect? All of this is new to him, the game is very fast for Petty right now, he is running away from pressure that is not there, not going through his progressions fast enough. The game will start to slow down for him with more repetition.
I am convinced that Geno would win us and put us in many games....Maybe not 9-7 or 10-6 but better than we are at now...People wished for the worst for Geno so he wouldn't play because we thought we had something better....I never got that...
because every QB on this roster absolutely sucks. Fitz Sucks... Hack Sucks.. and now Petty Sucks as well. There are no competent Qb's on this roster. Oh, and Bowles may not be an idiot, but he certainly qualifies as a complete f'n moron.
