He probably thought the draft was next week.

Especially with the Iowa State connection with Bauer.

I glad we signed a Punter, Palardy is very good.
Otherwise I'm not thrilled with anything we signed so far.
I think the Jets weren't as aggressive in FA due to having 12 picks.
There were some solid FA's: Skov, Loston, Dion Bailey, Tiny Richardson,Brandon Coleman..all signed with other teams. Tennessee signed some good players.

Lol too much involved in that, how quick they get the punt off, hang time, can they kick end over end, I personally don't believe in drafting Kickers and Punters, sign them off the street and let then battle it out in TC.

I'm surprised Kirby hasn't been signed, or drafted. IDK why we passed on him to bring this other guy in, but hey I'm just happy we brought in a punter at all. I would have been fine with drafting one, if it was a clear upgrade. It's a position we need to be strong at, if we have a questionable offense.

I'm curious about Victor Hampton, and Adrian Hubbard as well.

    WW85,

Why do you think Skov, Loston, Bailey and Richardson weren't drafted. I'm not very surprised that Coleman wasn't drafted, but am shocked about Skov, Loston, Bailey and Richardson.

I disagree. Kickers and Punters make a huge difference in field position and in close games often whether you win or lose. It's even more important when you have a conservative (or not very good) offense and you try to win with your D as Rex does. If you draft well, you shouldn't have to use but 2 low round picks every 4-7 years.

Is Roberson still unsigned? What the hell? Was he shooting up during interviews?

I never said they weren't important I just don't think they merit a draft selection.

And that's fine. You're certainly entitled to your opinion and no one said we had to agree. :) I can understand why you would think that way, and respect your opinion. I just think that they're so important that they're worth using low round picks on when you need one.
