he's been up and down but it's sad how many fans go way overboard. 2 weeks ago he earned the PFF gameball against the pats. he's had good games and he's better then what we have left. burris was terrible he went from starter to not playing
You would expect better play from someone getting 40 million. I'm not seeing what you are. He was getting beat like a drum. His first year he played good because they had him in the slot where he belongs. Him going up against big WR is not how he should be utilize.
And with all the god damn issues on this team the move we had to make at the trade deadline was..wait for it..Defense!!!Defensive backfield no less!! When this regime arrived & had $$ to burn, they signed 3 DBs,When last season’s disaster occured the answer on draft day was back to back safeties...is this the only unit on the team that Bowles &Mac care about?? If only they put even half this effort into the OL or god forbid Quarterback
Yup. This may possibly be more about Burris anyway. Looked like a promising pick but his play has fallen off drastically, with what looks like a total loss of any confidence.
Im pretty sure at least 1 of them will and ASJ has helped this offense big time. Logically this argument makes no sense bud Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
You have no clue what you are talking about. Before this trade you didn't even know the kid existed but you are now calling him trash, just like the rest of the idiots that said bringing ASJ was trash. Bet you haven't even seen him play.
Relax...I've honestly been impressed with the secondary play for the most part this year. The two safeties have been good , Claiborne has been well worth the money and possibly coming back for 3 year deal. Skrine started off good but that pats game really left a bad taste in fans mouth despite him being much better then last year. Burris may not amount to much but again he still has time. Roberts was outcast from the Pats and has been a decent corner here. The corners they drafted seem to not be ready physically but it's clear they want someone in that mold of Claiborne ...Someone that can play man press coverage, big, physical and has some decent speed. This Robinson has that and who knows maybe him and Adams have a good rapport that can help each other out.
Seems like a really aggressive CB who needs to tone it down a bit to avoid flags. He's only 22, 4.4 speed and really long. You know Adams had to vouch for him. For a 5th? Sure, but I too am getting a little tired of all of the resources being spent on D and QB.
This trade really is a head scratcher if you look at Robinson's past. Multiple failed drug test at LSU , the arrest for unlawful entry and theft of a teammate and his struggle to become and remain academically eligible at LSU. I guess we won't draft anyone with "character concerns" but we can trade for them.......
Just read Manoosh Mehta's opinion right after the pick and then verify it with a PFF report from last Oct. '16 and it makes a lot of sense
You can get players of value for a 5th round pick , from everything we have read Robinson is not a player of value, why not a 7th ? Why a fucking 5th ? What has Robinson done to earn such a high pick? Also why is ASJ being brought up? We claimed him for free right? That's a lot different then throwing away a pick
We shouldn’t be drafting defense unless it’s an edge rusher cause God knows we need one in the worst way, but I would love if we just focused on o line and QB going forward Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
