I guess this is good but can anybody remember the last 5th, 6th or 7th round pick in the Tannenbaum era that actually ever saw the field?
Drew Stantons agent tweeted something along the lines of " Thanks for the Jets for this chance blah blah, colts will be getting a good leader blah blah, and not a gimmick to sell tickets. Cimini then retweeted it, and they both deleted it lmfao
Moves up 23 picks since the Jags own pick was the 7th pick in Round 7 and the Eagles own pick was the 15th pick in Round 6. Throw in supplemental picks at the end of Round 6 and Tanny moved up about 30 spots for his 500K investment in Stanton for a week. The man is a mover, a shaker and a haymaker.
Yea he is about as good as it gets from a 5th round pick rookie. Especially since a lot of us are expecting an improvement this year. The kid was clutch on third downs.
In the end this deal means we basically acquire Tim Tebow for $3 million dollars, and dropping two rounds in the NFL draft. Jets deal.. 4th Round pick (Jets, 16th pick of the round) $3 million dollars ($2.5 million to the Broncos, $500 K to Stanton) Jets receive Tim Tebow 6th Round pick (Eagles, 15th pick of the round)
God you look like an idiot now. Oh wait you are an idiot. And you sir, just earned yourself a week off at the I am Banned Resort. Knock off the name calling.
His problem seems to be his a-hole agent. His childish agent must have talked Drew into signing with the Jets - then looked stupid.
I guess it depends upon whether another $500K cap hit is worth moving up 24spots. ( From #7 in the 7th to #15 in the 6th.)
