Dude, don't go there. Oday Abooshi's play spoke volumes enough. He sucked camel cock. Then with the comments and the pot, fuck him, gtfo. I never got where some fans got the notion that Abooshi was a 'player'. I think the notion was sparked by Mehta saying he was a player on the rise when it was just Rex trying to find a place for him along the OL during camp, after it was obvious Abooshi couldn't plat RT....the reason he was drafted btw.
I think the trade is fantastic. Basically the same thing we did with Fitz, Henderson and others... He stays healthy and we have a huge "win." I do believe that they are doing a new contract but haven't seen the parameters yet.
The 2014 played at a pro bowl level (not that pro bowls are the best indicator of performance) tells me he has healed completely from his 2013 injury. What we have to worry about is the torn ACL and I can imagine that to be tricky for a 300+ guy... But in soccer guys heal in 6 months (I know soccer isn't football but this guy is an OL and in soccer legs get hit quite badly) so I'm confident... It's not like he tore his Achilles.
