How did we fuck over Brick? Earlier you were complaining about all the negative nancys complaining about Brick, and now you're the negative nancy.

Im not debating that. Brick hasnt been great the last couple years , def not worth his 14 mil salary , but Clady hasnt played in a year.

Call me crazy but I rather have the guy that is there is a human form than a guy that is in street clothes.

By not having any contact with him from the time the season ended to the time we asked him to take a paycut..sounds like a fuckover to me.

It's worth the risk. If Clady stays healthy, he's a HUGE upgrade over Brick, and he saves Mac from having to take a LT in the 1st round. He's worth the $3 million for that alone, even if he can't stay healthy.

How would you have filled the void at LT?

    Are you a mod? No

Even if you were you would see that Mr. Posts Once Every 7 Months had an attitude toward me first.

    Thanks for checking up though.

You don't know that the Jets had no contact with Brick. You're guessing or believing some reporter who makes stuff up. If memory serves me correctly, you were just laughing at other posters for basing their opinions on what some reporter said.

You're better than this. Are you drinking this evening? ;) LOL

I've gone through this already. Mo for a 1st. Draft Conklin or Stanley.

No, I'm not a moderator, but it pisses me off when I see posters tell other posters not to post. Rip their opinions apart. Point out why their posts are bad or inaccurate, but I just think that only moderators should tell posters not to post.

I did miss his earlier comment about Tourettes outburst. You have a right to rip him for that, but I still don't think you should tell him not to post, but that's just me.

Stanley's falling. Some scouts don't think he can play LT in the NFL and think he's overrated. What if they could get Spriggs at #20 and Floyd for the first they got for Mo?

No, I don't. None of us do. That's why I think it wrong to say that Mac made a mistake or fucked over Brick. One should only make statements like that when one has facts or proof that that is the case.

I'm not trying to give you a hard time. I just see some startling inconsistencies in your posts today.

Dude there are questions about every tackle playing the blind side cept Tunsil cmon... This scenario of us getting Spriggs and Floyd will never happen

I don't understand the hysterical comments in this thread from the Irish dude. there was no way brick was going to play for his full salary this year. no gm would have done that. so if the ask for a pay cut was the final straw in the retirement decision it's not like it was an incompetent gm move to ask for it.

mac can't make brick not retire and he had to replace him. he did it in what? less than 24 hours? surely he could have done a lot worse.

You might wanna look back and see the other posts that have "ripped" me apart for having an opinion that other posters are too scared to post.

Thats fine. I posted before that I am part team and part Brick on the situation that went down. So if you wanna say that is inconsistencies than thats fine.

Stanley is def falling. And ND homerism aside , I think he's going to be an awesome pro. And even Conklin would be a solid 2nd choice. But neither of those guys are falling to 20.
