where are we even hearing Trusnick's name? I checked Yahoo, ESPN and Schefter's twitter, and am watching mike and mike, and i see nothing....
Edwards has not done anything in two years. I'm not cutting a back flip yet. Cost? More than likely it's an conditional pick in the 3rd that can go as high as 1st.
per Schefter: Deal for Braylon Edwards includes Jason Trusnik, the Jets core special teams player and picks - and maybe a WR. Trying to piece together. 2 minutes ago from UberTwitter
its gotta be a 2nd or a 3rd, or maybe a 3rd + a late rounder. I'd be ok with the latter 2, but I'm not sure I'd even want to give up a 2 for someone who hasn't produced since two season ago....then again, if he performs like he did back then, a 2 would be a freakin' steal

There's no way they gave up Edwards for ST'er Trusnik...He isn't even the best ST'er on the team...Wallace Wright is a ST monster...They had to get more than just that, unless Mangini is cleaning house and flushing out anyone with talent so he can plug sucko players like Kenyon Coleman in...WOW!
Is Mangini still working for the Jets? Give Woody and Tanny credit... at the first sign of vulnerability with the receivers they go and make a move
Rumors before the season were that Edwards had a lot of problems in the locker room. I really want to know what those picks were.
While Edwards hasn't produced in two years, look at the team he was on. Randy Moss wasn't too productive on Oakland; but what happened when he arrived in NE?
Trusnik and a 3rd sounds logical. No way Cleveland does just Trusnik, the city already hates the new regime. That certainly wouldn't help.
I'll go out on a limb and hope that when he said the Jets best special teamer, he wasn't referring to Leon Washington. Maybe I'll have to take back all that bad stuff I've said about Mangini over the years, he seems to really have New York's best interests at heart.
