I'm surprised it was 2 years. Clemens is gone. (Guessing)

That should spell the end of Clemens. I think thats what he wanted aswell. Cards can pick him up and have three backups compete for a starting spot.

Good, now if the sky falls down we have someone back there we know wont make a foolish decision.

We dont (shouldnt) need to win in the air, if it comes down to brunell that mean well be doin handoffs just as much as usually, and probably a little more. And a guy with the amount of expierence as Brunell will be able to make good decisions back there im happy.

Will Brunell be good enough to be the number 2? I realize we don't have great depth at QB but he hasn't even been a 2 for the last few years, and we have guys that have been here and learned the system for a while.

Where are the 10,000 Clemens appreciation threads?

Sanchez just added 5 TD's to his 2010 total. (at minimum)

The better Mentor, Chad or Mark??

What a gutsy, BOLD statement! Especially when it can never be verified. Good job!

    I agree.

Signing a player to be a "mentor" is stupid, especially when their ability to play the position effectively is pretty questionable. Personally, I'd rather have Ainge as the #2 than Brunell. If we keep Clemens and have Brunell as the #3, then Ainge will be bumped to practice squad, and I don't particularly like that idea.

Lol. That really got to you huh? What if I get Sanchez to tell me which passes were Brunnell's idea?

I would rather go into 2010 with Rick Mirer as a back up than i would Clemens. The guy is terrible beyond words
