This. Since the Jags have the Jets number (no fucking clue how), this is probably a superstitious reason as to why they're bringing these unis back out. If McCown is starting, how in the fuck can the Jets not rape that offense?

I'd like to retire them until some day when we play Tennessee, and we can really fuck around with the league by making it a Titans vs. Titans game.
The only reason I don't like them is that fans wear the blue and gold Titans stuff to games when they have their regular green on. I went to the Jets Rams game a couple of years ago and it looked like the stadium was a quarter full of St. Louis fans.
We have a good record wearing them so it does not suprise me, teams are superstitous. I loved when Parcells went back to our current uniforms, but I just wore my original Denis Byrd jersey and it brought back a lot of memories, most not so good since we sucked and the injury to Denis. I would love to see the unifrorms the sack exchange wore, are those the same as Byrd wore? Can't remember.
The way rosters constantly change these days uniforms are about the only constant that fans have. Do we bleed green and white or navy blue and puke yellow? No, it's not going to stop me from rooting just as hard for them to win, and no it's not going to make a victory any less sweet, but watching my team play in totally different colors using a different team name just doesn't sit right with me. I can understand them doing it for the anniversary year but how long do they need to keep doing it? At this point it just looks ridiculous.
If the Titans unis are such a good luck charm why don't they just use them every game and change the team name back to the NY Titans? They need to retire them permanently.
