The thanksgiving game would make the most sense from a marketing stand point. Its a national game on the bis shopping weekend right before Christmas
The ticket said..New York Titans Throwback Day Join us this season as we honor our past when the team takes the field in the 1960-62 uniform, the New York Titans navy & gold. Visit newyorkjets.com for details. Which makes it pretty clear it is a home game.. BTW, I hate the idea of throwback jerseys..
why not have one throwback day? it'd be something different to see for once, it's not like they are experimenting with a new uniform...and it beats those awful green pants!
whats the point? other than to make dollars off the sale of the jersey? When I go to a game, I don't need to see different as far as the uniform goes. I only care about the outcome of the game. If it was up to me I would do away with the awful green pants too..
i could care less if they do it or not, but i'm willing to see what it looks like once and see what else they have planned for the day, but of course winning is the only thing i actually care about. and to get back to the green pants, i dont get where they even came from, they don't match at all with the stripes, even the shade of green looks off
Classically bad, Man, there were not alot of good times in those uniforms. Those were the "Joe must go" Walton, "Cut Bruce Loose" Coslet and Rich "Kotex" years. I hope they never wear those jerseys again.
It's just gonna be damn weird seeing the Jets not wearing green. I'd much rather see the late 80s/early 90s jerseys.
I don't like it, I would have preferred they played in the 80s uni's if they were wearing throwbacks.
