Ugly as sin but everybody should have know that when they said kelly green to begin with. Another thursday night embarrassment for the jets..we are making a career out of them. at least it won't be as bad as the bumblebee costumes the steelers wear.
The pics that are released on the teams Facebook page look decent. The jersey atleast. I can still do without the green pants though. NFL marketing team didnt really do a good job on this idea.
They certainly didn't think thru the visuals on this. Green & Red on a green field. Might as well be a green screen and they could just CGI special effects during the game. I guess it could be worse. Red & Royal Blue.
actually they did a great job. we are 8 pages deep a week and a half before the game talking about it. sounds like pretty solid marketing to me.

Well criticism is always going to be a more popular reaction than praise would be. The NFL doesnt need to turn into the NBA with these jersey ideas though. If they eventually bring in "nickname" jersey's like basketball did I might lose my shit.

All kelly green doesnt look great but im glad they atleast have done something else, been a jet fan since 99 and these current unis are kinda getting old. We need a whole new look and a black alternate wouldnt be so bad either. Maybe this is the start of something else coming next year
We are one of the last few teams to have ONLY 2 colors. I think ourJets and the Colts have the best looking unis because they are clean and simple. Fuck around too much and we will have some design akin to the jags or bucs... Fuck that.

I personally am a fan. I wouldn't want them as every week uni's but I've been wanting an alternate just like this for a while. Since it became clear we couldn't do proper jelly green throwbacks, and the jets don't have a ton of variety in terms of uniform history, these are just fine for me. White uni's are our go to and I love that, but something different isn't the worst thing
