i disagree that we haven't seen anything that shows improvement. that's me being pedantic. other than that i pretty much agree with your post.
I think Manly overstated it to say Wilson showed no improvement. The larger point, however, is that he did not show enough to be a starting CB this coming year.
He played so little after the first five weeks that it's just hard to say he showed improvement. He played well in 49 snaps in the Buffalo game-which was essentially an exhibition-but other than that he only played sparingly after the first 5 games: he had 4 DNPs including the Indy playoff game, between 1 and 10 snaps 7 times, 16 snaps once and 17 once.
Stanford Routt of the Raiders just re-signed for 3 years, 31.5 million with 20 mill guaranteed. That is outrageous.. defintiely going to have a big impact on what Cro gets on the market. If it's a deal like that there's no chance he's back.
