For a team in our position going into the offseason, we're going to have remarkable continuity.

I believe we tendered him at ROFR. The question is whether we decide to add so much at the safety position. With Cook poised to compete for a roster spot and Lowery looking to move full time to safety, we may already be carrying more safeties than we did last year.

Again, though, there's that Lance Laury spot to be taken on ST. Smith and Ihedigbo can both be used in hybrid LB roles at times as well, meaning some flexibility in the numbers isn't necessarily unheard of.

Really happy to hear this. I'm glad to see we are keeping a lot of our own FA's.
    I'm hoping Digg is next.

Yup, one of the best in the league. Bringing back several big contibutors and being in position to bring back another but declining to do so for off the field reasons is pretty stellar

I'm really excited because I had a bad feeling going into this offseason. There was a lot of uncertainty and I didn't think we would have the needed flexibility to qualm my fears.

I think we have such an edge w/ so many key guys back from last year. Not many teams have as many key guys back and when we had so many FAs it makes amazing that we have been able to keep the team together. There will always be turnover but's it's pretty minimal compared to what it could have been. I hope all Jet fans appreciate these times, we have a committed owner, a big time GM, a big time HC and a franchise QB. This is going to be a fun decade.

    this pickup is huge

you guys are retarded saying Dig is more important.

Dig, is an elite role player an awesome box safety.

pretty much a taller, whiter version of Eric Smith

Pool is the best coverage safety on this team, and its not even fuckin close.

also while our other Safeties have had time in this system Pool came on heavy near the end of the year as he got more reps.

we have some holes at the gunner spot with Dig and Brad Smith gone.

that being said Pool was the most important safety to bring back IMO.

Pool/Smith/Leonhard will be a nice trio to rotate.

WR/LB first two picks next year. hopefully.
