If we traded Coles for a mid draft pick would anyone take him? and if so would that money come off the cap?

    x2. I like Barton. Isn't he a FA?

Whatever they eventually choose to do, the first thing they have to do is rework his contract. If he stays, we'll have to give him the extension he wants in order to lower the cap hit; if we trade him, we'll probably have to do the same so a team interested in him won't take the cap hit. No one's going to trade for him with his current contract. Personally, I'd like to see him stay.

Trade Coles to Cleveland and a 3rd RD pick for Braylon Edwards. That's worth it to me.

Try Coles to the Jaguars. I think he would want to play for his hometown team. Plus, he is only a mere 348 miles away from Chad.

But that would most likely never happen.

I think the Browns might want to have a say in the trade though...

His shenanigans are no longer acceptable given his shitty production last year. I could hire someone a lot cheaper to drop balls.

Only team I can think of that would want Coles is MIA. I was actually thinking of starting a thread on that topic. Coles and Penny have that well known vulcan mind meld going and MIA has the worst receiver corps in the league, they are desperate at that position. And Coles would be happy to go there, he's from FL and he loves Penny. So MIA is the only realistic trade partner, unless you just want to give him away.

I think the Chargers are pretty happy with Vincent Jackson's emergence this season opposite Chris Chambers. He'll want to be a #1 wherever he goes. The Eagles don't really have a #1, but they haven't had one since TO and it seems to suit Donovan McNabb better. He likes to spread the ball around. I don't see them seeking out a $7 million contract for that situation.

I think the Titans are the most likely destination. They can't possibly feel good about Gage and McCareins going forward. They may have the cap space. There aren't many player for player trades in football anymore.

Miami is 24 million under. Is receiver their only need? That's the big question. They'd have 17 million left, meaning one other FA signing and their rookies.

Wiped his ass? Get the fuck out of here. Coles has worked harder then any other Jets player during Mangini's time here. Coles played hurt, put his body on the line and was the real leader of the Jets. Theres a reason he was voted team Captain by the players, AND team MVP by the players.

Stop talking out of your ass.
