I don't know who this board is married but Ms. Carr will have more say than any poster, Woody, Coach Saleh or Joe Douglas. Hope she loves broadway shows, shopping and good schools for her kids. Actually I would want those things too.

One thing I love about JD, nothing gets leaked by the Jets

    .[/QUOTE]

Except of course Zach Wilson on the #2. We lived with that one for 6 weeks before the disaster actually struck.

He can't help himself. He'd rather endorse Incarcerated Bob than let something go that I posted.

they are both very religious so hopefully the Jets are selling them on those communities of value instead of the glitz and glam of NYC’s nightlife

Some good info here. Sounds like Carr wants to have his situation wrapped up before FA kicks off so he can "recruit" other players to join him on his new team.

Feel like we'll know where Carr's going within the next week or two but that would depend on how many more visits he takes.

Seems like this situation could play out perfectly for the Jets. Rodgers should be exiting his darkness retreat in the next day or two, so I would imagine we'll have a little bit more clarity on what his plans are going forward. If Rodgers decides to stay in GB/retire/not come to the Jets, I feel like the Jets will go full court press on trying to get Carr signed ASAP.

I looked up the 2022 stats and...

    Carr - 3,522 yards with 24 TD's and 14 INT's

    Wilson - 1,688 yards with 6 TD's and 7 INT's

    White - 1,192 yards with 3 TD's and 4 INT's

This would be a very big upgrade at QB over what the Jets have especially if JD can improve the OL this offseason.

Do we pay a JAG middling $?

Do you give that $ & Draft picks for an accomplished starter?

Do you Draft a QB and develop?

    That's the game buddy...

Right now, with this roster...I think this Derrick Carr is the best option

Imo I think Daniel Jones is the best option for this roster and offense.

Not if he’s looking for $35 million. Fuck that.

Feel like I saw he wants 45M+ for AAV.

That's gonna be a no from me dawg.

If the Giants tag him, he’ll get minimum of $32M.

Not saying whether he s worth $35M or $45M/ year, just saying he s the best QB available imo for this offense.

Typo on my part, I meant 45. Someone is giving him horrendous advice. Even if he ends up getting 30 to 35 I want no part of that. He’s been pretty dreadful outside of a solid, may be above average stretch of this last season. Paying guys for that is how you end up like the bills did with Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Jones would be tagged before getting $45M per year

Giants are in control there and there’s no need to sign that deal…he improved for sure under Daboll (probably the QB developer we should have hired after firing Gase but hey, that ship sailed)…but I don’t know that anybody thinks he’s earned that level of pay yet.

will be interesting to watch what happens there but I’d guess if they don’t work something out he’ll get tagged…it’s not like the Giants have better options

So you want to pay a small fortune for a quarterback who had one good year? Whose one good year came in a walk year? I’m glad you’re not running the Jets dude, no offense

I don't know what the Giants cap situation is like for 2023 but they also are trying to get a deal done with Barkley as well.
