Feels like this thread is really coming full circle. We started off talking about how incarcerated bob is a fraud, and here we are two weeks later and every credible report says there is no offer out to Carr until Rodgers makes up his mind. It’s classic Bob… Take the biggest “no shit“ logical stance and pretend it’s insider information. Can’t blame him though, blame the people that somehow buy it.

He knows this Fanbase is desperate for a QB so this story, while probably BS to start, will gain traction as long as the Living Legend keeps Woody Johnson and the Packers on hold. Smart if you're trying to get clicks.

This is what he’s done for 15 years. Like I said… Make the most obvious statement on earth, pretend you have insider information and then keep amending your “report“ as more actual legitimate insider information comes out. I haven’t followed him in a decade but I’m surprised he hasn’t started doing that yet. Maybe he has. I truly didn’t think anyone listened to him after like 2010.

It's ALL speculation right now. Nobody Is right or wrong currently because nothing has happened.

    Who cares?

That's exactly what potential is. It's not based on his body of work, but the potential of improving and reaching his ceiling. It's easy to write him off at his lowest point with just 22 games under his belt.

At this point we don't even know if he will be traded, so it is silly to say "let me know when it happens."

We'll see his value if the Jets sign Derek Carr to a 3-4 year deal. If they bring in Aaron Rodgers, Zach stays. We don't know if/when it will happen, but I'm just basing it on what other struggling first round QBs have fetched in compensation.

The first sentence of your post is my point exactly. I was fascinated that an actual news outlet used a notorious fraud as a source and then at least one person here somehow defended said notorious fraud. It’s amusing, that’s all. I would love for there to be some actual news.

If the Jets were going to get Carr he'd never have left NJ after the first meeting.

Rodgers is probably going to announce his retirement which will take him out of the picture.

Plan C is unknown but anybody whose confidence is high hasn't been watching the Jets for the last decade.

How did you land here? Carr was never ever going to sign on his first visit. He didn’t sign anywhere his first visit or second visit and he won’t until Rodgers rejoins society. Absolutely nothing should be made of the Carr situation until it’s explicitly stated by someone reputable.

Carr made it clear that he wasn't going to rush his decision and that he wanted to visit multiple teams. I guess he wouldn't have left NO of he didn't intend on signing there?

Carr would be smart to wait on Rodger's decision... it will only up his price.

yes but only for so long. Wacky Rodgers might take all summer.

Carr needs to sign before free agency to get his best deal

If the Living Legend waits all summer, Woody will make JD wait as long as it takes..

The problem is that no player should be "at his lowest point" after two complete seasons.
