Still waiting for an answer to my question where I asked you to backup your claim that I was lying.

I'm actually asking for you to have the last word. Just say "I made something up to be contradictory but it wasn't real so now that you asked me to provide examples I'm deflecting".

Saleh was supposed to be in Indy yesterday to meet with Carr, but had a stomach bug. Could this be winding down? Fingers crossed, let's get this done.

I changed my mind. I think Atlanta might be Carr's landing spot.

If he is looking to win then I couldn’t think of a worse landing spot. That team has absolutely nothing doing on either end of the ball outside of Drake London and Kyle Pitts.

i’m not a quarterback and I wasn’t in the meetings so maybe I’m reading this wrong but “if we ask him to do his job less he will be better at it“ isn’t a ringing endorsement.

I mean they did it with Favre. The Jets were a year removed from back to back AFC championships when Peyton Manning broke free. Carson Palmer was available in the off-season of 2010. Alex Smith after 2011. Kirk Cousins was franchised multiple times surrounding our near playoff visit in 2015.

Not sure why you keep going back to subjective thoughts and presenting them as fact.

Sound better? The full presser is on YouTube, he was definitely complimentary.

I know there were guys available but when did they actually meet with these available QBs and sell them on the team and winning?

They 100% spoke to Kirk and Peyton’s camps. They got Favre here. Whether there was a sales pitch to Favre or not, I don’t really remember. But he didn’t just up and retire instead of playing here.

the pitch to Cousins didn't work. A lot of people were happy about that but he has looked pretty good at times in Minny

Get back to me when he gets traded for a 6th. Jets fans routinely de-value their own players. People said the same about Darnold after year 3. People pay for potential with young QBs, it's just the way it is.

LOL Who said Zach has potential? Clearly his entire body of work says otherwise. I don't need to get back to you because I wasn't the one who made the stupid, outlandish claim that he would garner a 3rd rounder in return.

Let me know when it happens.

Oh that sounds potentially very Jetsy to me. "Remember that year Salah was supposed to go to Indy to finalize a deal with Carr and he got a stomach bug and by the time he arrived a few days later Carr had signed with the Panthers, out of nowhere?! Was that the Brissett year?"

I am SO happy that Cousins was just using us to get a deal somewhere else…he actually took less money from Minnesota than what we offered him and I’m glad he did

I don’t know what it is about him because his stat lines are usually pretty good but he absolutely does not win when it matters…how much is on him vs. his team I don’t know but he always seems to be a 9 win kind of guy. This year he took the division and they lost to a Giants team that they should have beaten.

They have tons of cap space and a high draft pick. They could look completely different in 3 months

We’ll go me the main thing is both Carolina and Atlanta, and may as well throw Tampa in there too if they’re looking for a QB, they all play in the NFC South, the weakest ass division in the league. Much better than having to play Buf, Mia and NE twice per year.

if he’s looking for a path to the playoffs, I’d be looking at those guys who play in a weaker division and in a weaker conference….

“They could“ is exactly why it makes no sense for him to go to Atlanta. He’d be signing with the team that is in phase 1 of a rebuild when there are teams ready to compete the day he signs.
