Ah, not jokes: the cutting edge of humor. I personally don't wish extreme harm on Brady but it certainly wouldn't be hard to watch it happen.
Confucius say: If a player get hit and injured its part of the game.... The intent of one doing the hitting is where the question lies.
Good Sir Knight, Me thinks mine saddle doth chafe too much. No, Young Squire, Mayhaps thine briefs be culpable. --Outtakes from Richard the III
I am totally against players intending on hurting the opposing teams players. It makes me cringe. ..but I cant help but wish a K. Turley moment to present itself this week against the Patsies. I just would not be able to contain myself. I have to be honest. I dont want anyone to get seriously hurt, but that would not be all that bad to watch. Scalping T.Brady's helmet on the 50yd line would be hilarious. The Patsies have just made me that irritable this season. So ready for a change.
Dear god I hope the weather is so bad, that their passing game is unable to work, and they have to let Maroney beat us on the ground. Then I think we have a real shot seeing as how our passing game is still basically 3 yard running plays, and the combo of Leon and TJ this weekend against a not so top of the line run defense, give us a shot IMO....
Cris Carter played on 3 teams in a 16 year career that finished under .500. He doesn't despise the Jets, he just has no respect for them. Cris Collinsworth played on a bunch of bad teams on the bungles so he doesn't have the bar raised at the same level and he cuts the Jets some slack. There's a reason he gave such a bloodthirsty mock coaches talk as "Mangini" in the lockerroom this Sunday. He's been there and done that and knows what it is like to lose more often than you win. The former players who are analysts who cut the Jets a fair break tend to be the guys off of the middle of the pack or worse teams during their career. Ron Jaworski and Cris Collinsworth are examples here. They have some perspective on what it's like to be on a team that disappoints regularly and is not in the elite. There are a few guys who pick the Jets regularly, like Eric Allen (a Raider of all things), who played on good teams but mostly it's the average guys who don't just trash the Jets.
Collinsworth is completely right on this one. The Jets need to play the most physical game ever this weekend. I posted the same thing in another thread. If they don't, they will be way more embarrassed then they were last Sunday, because Bellyache will run it up to a record score. I want every hit the Jets lay out, on both offense and defense, to rattle the walls in my house. My God, I want this victory BAD!!!
