One Pro Bowl running back doesn't make up for all the wasted draft picks. Now it's possible Bowles held the team back, in which case the roster wasn't as bad as it appeared. But if not, then barring Darnold morphing into Aaron Rodgers, we're still going to struggle.

I understand what he brings to the table but lets see if he actually signs and then lets see if he is focused on football. The proof will be when we see what is actually in the contract and when we see him perform

Just realized the Jets will be paying Bell less money ($13.125M AAV) this coming season than the Giants will have tied up in "dead money" for a guy that will be playing on the Browns (OBJ - $16M).

Without an O line to open up holes it could be trouble...Its the Jets you have to always find the negative.

Is Bell a locker room/on-field problem, or did he just want his money?

I know there's not a difference in that to some people, but to me it matters. I personally understand NFL players wanting to get a piece of the pie before their brain is scrambled and they're kicked to the curb with nothing to show for it.

To me a guy like Beckham was a diva to the point where he affected the team on the field, going as far as that famous incident with Josh Norman, and countless other BS moments with flags and the media. Does Bell have any of these issues, or was he just, "f*ck you, pay me" to the Steelers antiquated approach to player contracts?

Jets got the ONE AND ONLY player I truly wanted. Awesome. Funny how I was attacked and MOCKED for months for wanting to improve our offense with... LE'VEON BELL!

    Coleman?!??? Lol

Awesome! The Jets have a true play maker on offense to help Sam. Love it! Not too expensive either. Great job by Mac standing his ground. Now we just have to hope he can get back into game shape and stay healthy. Definitely a risk worth taking by the Jets.

Let's see how an order rapist can do without Bell and A.B.

Suddenly Pittsburgh's offense isn't scary anymore.

I'll be happy when the Jets win football games. Also if you read my old posts, I'm not a huge pessimist. I just don't get excited over free agent signings.

I understand he's very patient at the line of scrimmage.

    He'll wait.
