Chin is the largest potential market in the world, if it isn't obvious now, it will be. The Jets trying to get a foothold in the Chinese football market. Brilliant move.

If it's of any consequence, the only other NFL player of Hispanic-Chinese descent didn't have too long a career. Juan Hung Lo was released after suffering a hernia injury.

Mangini to Schottenheimer: "Who are you sending in as the 2nd WR?"

    Schotty: "Juan."

Mangini: "No, I need 2 Wideouts!"

    Schotty: "That's what I'm doing."

Mangini: "But you told me one!"

    Schotty: "No I didn't, I said Wong."

    Mangini: "What's wrong?"

Schotty: "Nothing, did I say something wrong?"

Mangini: "Look, just send in Juan! Do it NOW!"

Schotty: "Now you only want one wideout?"

if Wong is really Mexican, then:

We should leave him home if we ever play a preseason game in Mexico City so he can't defect.

And in short yardage plays, we could use him to smuggle the ball over the goal line. He should be a natural, right?

And I'm sure the vets would appreciate having their bags carried to the hotel.

And when we play the Pats, it would be nice to have someone who could sneak into their locker room and steal some SB rings.

And during the off season, I'm sure Mangini could put him to work mowing his lawn and cleaning his pool.

This guy can be used anywhere! I saw he makes the team.

That is about the most blatantly ignorant comment I've read on here yet. Congratulations on a fine piece of stereotyping.

Part of me says I should just ignore the putrid prejudice of your remarks. Even to comment on them gives them a validity and value they don't have or deserve. However, to leave your racially insipid remarks unchallenged offends me as well. There are times when ignorance should be ignored and others when you have to confront it head on.

Success runs in the Hispanic race. We are scientists, surgeons, CEO's, professors and professionals. What we are not are as adept as White people are in concealing our drug abuse, our failures, our criminals and our problems. We own few magazines, television networks, magazines, film companies or other means of controlling the image that the world sees. White people control their image and their image of themselves is one of intestinal fortitude, putting one's nose to the grindstone and back to the wheel and all that good stuff.

As if White people don't do drugs. Don't kill each other. Cheat each other. Rape each other. Or pretty much do all the horrible things human beings do to themselves or others. As if.

What America so often sees Hispanic people committing crimes? Hispanic killing each other, Spanish cutting lawn, Spanish people screwing up in public.

There's far more to what Hispanic people are that your extremely limited view of them, Mr.214. But someone who thinks you're worth taking the time to explain it to you will have to do it because I have no interest in bursting your fragile little bubble.

Keep your stereotypes. The fight for civil rights wasn't just to free Black people from White racism. It freed White people from their own racism that was killing their souls as sure as a cancer killing the body.

And look how well it worked. Now White people can go online and be offensive in Cyberspace.

What progress we've made. How far we've come.

How far we still have to go.

    Peace out, L3
