I don't understand this move at all. On over-the-hill, money grubbing, selfish player is not what the Jets need right now. The secondary is fine as is. I would have passed.
...no it's not. When Drew Coleman is on the field, our opponent automatically gets a first down through the air.
y are you all so bummed out about this haha? He's a good player. Now we actually have CB depth. Well atleast alot better than before. And he's Revises friend so that's going to be very good chemistry between the 2.
Yea, this isn't a bad move at all IMO. Can't hurt unless he decides to pull some bullshit...he's not a bad player to have though.
I don't quite get this, either. I just don't see why we'd ruin any chemistry and Drew Coleman didn't even play much against the Rams...it was Poteat and Barrett in the dime packages.
did you say that into the mirror? http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=26570 Blow me. You're better of dead then pretending you know anything. Read that whole thread, nobody likes you
He'll be fine. This is a good thing. Sitting out most of the season should of taken care of his attitude
Ty as a hydrid DB? Ty at safety is actually an automatic upgrade and as a nickel or dime... well I welcome him back. Cool.
if he plays safety i'd put him on Faulk on third down situations. Kevin Faulk is a big cog in that offense. Shut him down.
I think the team chemistry as a whole is bigger than Ty Law... hopefully Mangini will man up and cut him if he acts up
Mangini has experience coaching Law, and he can't be much worse than what we're using at nickelback. It's worth a shot
It really couldn't hurt...I mean Dwight has been PICKED on pretty bad so far, and everybody opposite Revis has failed. If he is mad slow, then just demote him...It's not like we'll take an $8million hit like Oakland.
Exactly. If Tannenbaum brought him here to start, that would have been the wrong move. Bringing him here as a "hybrid" makes excellent sense. He also has information about the Pats. This move probably pisses off the Patriots. He has too have been humbled by the lack of many offers. He should be better than Coleman and Poteat. This is not the same team as 2005. If he acts up, he will once again be out of work.
I would imagine more than the league minimum and a good portion less than the league average. Somewhere inbetween
