That is one helluva analysis Byz. I love it as it shows the irony of this signing. Personally, this is an instance where I will have to root for the team, not for the player. Rex and his staff will have to appeal to Fans to get off Taylor's ass if he pulls a Ghost on us and suddenly becomes useless. It will be relentless if the Dolphin mgmt was right and Taylor is finished. It won't be pretty anyway you look at it as there's alot of hate out there focused on Ms. Taylor.
I don't mind renting his services for the season, and I'll probably cheer when he sacks the opposing QB, but I still don't like him.
I don't think it could be stated any better. If the end result is a Super Bowl ring, the subplots are way too juicy. Taylor sold his soul for a championship, Dolphins fans jump off bridges, and we get to celebrate. After all, you can only say so much when the man that pays you makes you a winner.
Nah. Law was coming off a major injury, never got to grips with things and then our season was over before it began.
Yeah, that better not happen. If we get rid of Ellis, now, that will really make me sad. The Jets gotta play first though, things are looking good for us though. On paper atleast.
He's a professional. He'll go out there and play hard. If he doesn't he'll be on the bench. Like Byz said, win-win.
what I'm most looking forward to is if we win the Super Bowl all the whiner being more upset that Jason Taylor will have won a Super Bowl than excited the Jets did too.
It won't. That entire season went to shit on the loss of one player, Testaverde. if Sanchez goes down in week 1 it won't make a bit of difference on how it ends up.
