Any team in desperation mode, I consider to have transitioned away from the role of contender. And did I ever say that Corey Davis was good enough to put them over the top? He's overpaid.
I'll just say at any point in the game, 3rd down, 1st down, 1 yard line or 50 yard line I would rather see the ball in a burner like Hardman's hands than Randall Cobbs yeah, Rodgers has familiarity, but Rodgers' teams have routinely underperformed in the playoffs, perhaps things like this are why. Hardman's speed can break open a game, he should not lose snaps to an aging Randall Cobb
cobb is more reliable, saavy, and a better route runner and has chemistry with rodgers. converting on a 3rd and short I feel much better with cobb out running a route then with hardman. with that said, davis, wilson, and lazard are all better options so who cares really. we have more weapons then balls to go around.
We need to count our blessings that we have lots of depth. It’s a long season, injuries are part of the game and it’s not just who is best, but who is available at any given time.
Weird, right? Rodgers is almost 10 years younger than me, and also not in as good of shape as I am, and not even close to as good looking. Totally easy to root for.
I love it!!! Rodgers has been my favorite player in the NFL for years. I'm as excited to see how much he can help Zach develop as I am to see how far he can take us in the playoffs. I think that Cobb and Lazard are going to make a lot of big plays for us.
were pretty stoked. we've never had a QB of his caliber. hell we've only had 3 better then decent QB seasons in the past 25 years. 1998 with an aging vinny, 2002 for 12 games with pennington, and 2015 with fitz. and none of them were even top 10 they were jsut average to slightly above average. outside of that we've had bottom 5 QB play for 22 of the last 25 years. its brutal man
