The colts cut him because hes coming off an injury...They probably know something we dont.Hes a solid player but not a game changer.
He lost the battle of North Africa after kicking the shit out of American forces at the battle of Kasserine Pass. He lost to another great tactician in British General Montgomery at the battle of El Alamein. That happened because Hitler didn't reinforce the Afrika Corps. 200K prisoners because they simply ran out of gas and ammo. Hitler simply wrote off the Afrika corps. BTW, Rommel designed the German defense at Normandy which also crumbled because Hitler thought the invasion was coming at Calais. Now back to the actual conversation.. Gase isn't 1/10000th the tactician Irwin Rommel was. In fact, Gase shouldn't even be in this conversation at all.
This seems to be how we build through the draft. Gather decent (but not great) mid-level FAs on team friendly contracts to help field a respectable team, then replace them with Rooks when the time is right. No $20m/yr 30yr old FAs to become the face of the team. Leave that to the home grown heros (like Jamal).
No they didn't, that's totally inaccurate. They cut him for cap purposes after the trade with SF and signing Rivers, they wanted to bring him back at a lower cost but we snapped him up. He's a starting CB, what the hell would a game changer be cut for, he's better then any CB we got it. We got lucky as hell picking this guy up. He played all year with a hamstring because the team was short handed. Tough guy and team player. Get er done JD
BUT ADAM GASE IS OUR HEAD COACH. I THOUGHT PLAYERS WERE GOING TO STAY AWAY. I KNOW,ITS BECAUSE OF GREG, WELL KNOW ONE SAID THAT BEFORE FOR FREE AGENCY. ONLY JET FANS THINK THE HEAD COACH BLOWS BUT ADAM GASE IS
This wouldn’t land regardless but it definitely doesn’t land whe you’re referencing someone who literally said he signed because of Williams.
