Good. I thought the other 263 threads, and 1,464 sources reporting this were all joking.

Call him KVO.He'll never give up when going to the QB or after a RB.The guy's motor is always at 100%.Good against the run and has a lot to offer as far as teaching technique.A very classy guy who smiles a lot and i'm glad he got paid.Very will deserved.

I'm glad you didn't get all pissed off and defensive like some new posters on here. It's refreshing to see.

    Excellent post....

As Parcells would say " a hold the fort player"

    A very good signing...

People don't realize that you can't have a team filled with just 25 year old players. When you're bringing in a whole new system like Mangini is, and inheriting, for the most part, a pretty young defense, you need these type of veterans who understand the system and have had success in it. This is not a 1-2 year plan by Mangini and Tannenbaum. It's a long term plan. Bringing in players to hold the fort as we develop our future starters at that position is not a bad thing. Infact, it will help us out in the long run.

    He's 35 yrs old....

    Jets' 1st signing is a 35 yr old player......

What's so different about this regime & old Jets' regimes ?

    Hopefully he helps Jets'.

Future signings & the draft will dictate the direction of team.

2nd....Thought.....He's a good short term signing...Helps Jets' in a position of need.

Bryan Thomas...Look for him to shine in new Jets' 3-4 defense.

Pouha...has a chance to display his talent this season.

Let me correct you by stating this is the 2nd signing, and a stop gap at that. Your negativity needs to mcbeet it!

Where do you intend on DROB playing then? He's playing, so don't give me that option.

KVO is going to play NT.

The Steelers didn't release him, his contract was up and he was an unrestricted free agent.

Of course DRob is going to play, but this post was about Kimo. I hope your not insinuating DRob will play end, and Kimo NT...DRob not only has no experience at end, but he is not built fo the position. On the other and, he has experience at NT, and is built for the position to boot. Similar to Kimo. He has no experience at NT, and isnt built for the position either. But he has plenty of experience at end, and has protoypical size. Robertson would be out of place at end, just as Kimo would be out of place at nose...play them at their natural position. If you have doubts of DRob handling the nose, thats fine, but you dont solve them by putting him at end. Again, ask the Raiders how that little experiment went with Sapp

If he cant tackle the QB, he can always roll over his knee and take him out.
