I say its a lack of effort. Stake out the Florham Park car lot and you'll get scoops. Unfortunately Kellen Winslow Jr is otherwise engaged but we need someone with his commitment to surveillance.
The D-line should be pretty solid. No excuses if they dont get pressure. That's a lot of money and resources spent towards them
I never heard of this cat before we signed him. Read an article on his Achilleas. He has a condition where a large bone spur was pushing the Achilleas off the heel bone. It actually happened on one leg, and they did a preventive on the other, removing the spur. He said it was like a 3rd leg bone growing out of his foot. He should be good to go now that they know what was going on and fixed it. The Bengals were pushing hard for him too.
Yeah, somebody needs to hire that guy that was hiding in the bushes and taking blurry pictures of the ceiling during the coaching search. That guy had some moxy.
I am excited about our defense. With Q, Lawson, Rankins and JFM we could have a great pass rush. Hall looks like a guy who could be very good. It would be nice to add another corner but we also need a lb and a slot corner. The defense looks exciting. I am sad about not getting Thuney but really excited by the players we have added.
Nearly 70% of Sheldon Rankins' career snaps have come on passing plays, a utilization that makes sense when you consider his track record as a fantastic pass rusher and mediocre run defender.@Michael_Nania breaks down Rankins: https://t.co/yE0MNIWCWL pic.twitter.com/0BVeMsbA7I— Jets X-Factor (@jetsxfactor) March 22, 2021
The #Jets GTD Rankins' '21 base. His '22 base is fully GTD only if he's on roster fifth day of '22 league year. So, basically, it's a 1-year contract.Cap hits2021: $4.75m2022: $6.25m https://t.co/452l6a3ffY— Connor Hughes (@Connor_J_Hughes) March 25, 2021 Very fair deal.
I hope he stays healthy and can return to his 2018 form. He reminded me of Kris Jenkins in video of that year the way he was just manhandling and shoving OL around and back into their QBs.
Thanks. Jenkins was a beast vs both the run and the pass. I'll settle for a mini-Jenkins version vs the pass.
