from what i've read, he can play both, and played outside when gilbert went down. he's better in the slot, but he's capable of both. elite recovery speed and good ball skills, young, gives 110%, and constantly improving. there's a reason why 15 teams wanted him this offseason.

If he was called for a lot of PI calls Id guess he has trouble matching up with guys bigger than him. All the more reason why he should play the slot with us.

I think this is terrific signing. He can totally hold the fort at either corner or slot. Cleveland is sad to see him go.
I'm totally on board with the fact that Bowles will get the most out of this tough, durable player.

We are probably still in the hunt for one more corner, and I have my hopes way up on McDougle and Milliner.

Slowly but surely we are plugging holes. I know many are unhappy about Carpenter, but he is stout against the pass and this offensive team is changing philosophy. So let see where we go from here. I remember similar complaints when we got Woody and look how great it was for us.

Good compliment with Milliner. Skrine can start out on the outside and then when we go to nickel he can bump inside.

I'm assuming he's signed to replace Kyle Wilson.

Chris Simms seems to love it he saying he could be a #1 corner... unless someone better comes along. thats reassuring.

They also said the Browns were the best tackling team in football. The Browns were also 32nd against the run. Figure that one out.

ProFootballTalk has Chris Culliver as the 47th best FA and Buster Skrine as 48th, FWIW

This is a good signing. He should be a good nickel CB.

Why the f*ck won't they negotiate in a public forum?! Did this regime learn NOTHING from the last one?

So are we writing off milliner as a starter at this point if we're signing Revis? I'd like to think milliner is starter worthy. I'd try to swing him for a decent or up and coming pass rusher if I could!

Rotoworld has us paying $25 mil over four years.

If accurate he is not going to be our nickel CB.

wow…everyones comments at the beginning of this thread seriously just shows that everyone we sign the first reaction is " good signing i like the move" and don't know anything about the player…i don't care what PFF ranks him..ive seen him play a lot and this dude is not a starting corner..and we are paying him a lot of money to be one…this was a bad signing along with carpenter
