Rex is the problem with this team. Rex and ownership, not Sanchez. At this point he needs to move on, but had he been given the tools to succeed I think he would have thrived here. We'll never know.
I guess you have not watched many Jets games te past few years. Sanchez, has shown to be inaccurate with his passing, turns the ball over way too much either by interception, or fumble, and often times in the red zone. Sanchez, appears flustered and lacking confidence after many of these instances. He is a fifth year QB who still makes rookie mistakes. You don't need years of NFL scouting experience to see all of this. You just need to have watched the Jets games, and be frustrated by Mark Sanchez's futility during them. Time to move on from Sanchez.
Yea, been to every game as a season ticket holder since 1980. Thanks for bestowing your expert opinion on me.
This is the biggest load of horse shit that people who defend Sanchez cite. The front office went out and got Sanchez a superbowl MVP WR who had topped 1,200 yards the previous season in Holmes. They got him another WR who was in the probowl and had a 1,200+ yard season with Braylon. His third WR was Cotchery. He had an excellent offensive line and the best run game in the NFL. The fact is Sanchez had all the weapons any NFL QB could every ask for in 09/10. Sanchez just SUCKS and couldn't take advantage of it. Brady Quinn never had the kind of supporting cast Sanchez did early in his career. Even the 2011 team was substantially better than what Quinn or many other highly drafted QB's enter into.
Mark Shitchez, Geno "Box of Rocks" Smith, and now Brady fuckin' Quinn. Good god, can this goddamn team get any more depressing?
where do you work? I can't believe Alicia Sacramone came into your job and you can talk about anything other than her magnificent ass
An inside source inside the Jets told me that they signed Quinn because Sanchez didn't want to me the worst QB on the roster.
Yep, by saying a rookie who shit the bed in his only real playing time (Smith) and a journeyman who shit the bed every time he had a chance to start (Quinn)are better than a below average QB (Sanchez) and a 2nd year pro who lit up the field and was the most accurate in the play time they gave him in Simms. Add in the fact that they also believe Smith and Quinn are better than McElroy who they cut and this is a F#CKING pathetic leadership and lack of brain trust. Not to mention we already have to pay Sanchez so not utilizing him at all in any form and possibly letting him go so he can spill all our information just adds to what will be a horrible year. Since we are doomed by be bad, then why not be so bad that Woody cleans house of everyone including our GM who is lacking in football intelligence.
