If people are going to freak out with every signing we may or not make, maybe following the team during the offseason is not a good idea.
I think it's because nothing happens for so long. If you have a perfectly still pond, even a small pebble is going to make a ripple if nothing else is going on. I think, I don't live near a pond.
Hopefully this pushes Elam to the next level. I like him, aggressive and fearless. Just needs to play a little more heads up.
OMG, you're irritating. I will go slow...The...free...agency...period...has...not...started...yet. Every team is signing scrubs like this as training camp fodder and long shots. It means nothing, and it's ridiculous for people to use this as some sort of example against the FO. It doesn't mean anything, who gives a crap. Think of this guy as a walking tackling dummy. What until after the FA period to see if they fail to sign anyone other than Hawkins, then bitch and moan.
Maybe we signed him to give Erik coleman a boost in the ass. I dont know I thought coleman was gonna be the real deal after his first year..
I expect FA will be very much what it always is, near misses on elite talent and than a panic over spend for a good talent and a lot of cannon foder for TC.
What elite talent will even hit this FA market? Samuels and who? Thats usually how FA works for everybody....only one team ends up with the elite player (ask the 49ers how that worked out for them) in the end.
