  3. I kind of agree with this?

    Jefferson would not present an upgrade in speed or athleticism..which is where this team drastically needs to upgrade. He's versatile productive & would be an upgrade in size..but he doesn't present the physical skills that the Jets lack...and at 12 Mill for a safety? Forget it. Maybe Gilchrist bounces back w. better corner play? Maybe we draft his replacement?

    They probably are, at least that's what I've seen reported is likely to happen.

    Yes, Pace was a good all around LB, but that's not why the Jets signed him and gave him such a big contract to induce him to come here. They signed him as a pass rusher. He wasn't. They had Thomas who was good at setting the edge. Pace was a good player, but a bad signing for the purposes which the Jets signed him imo. It's an even worse signing when one considers how long they held on to him and didn't really try to get another OLB.
