Abyz...exactly Tanny is a beast, I can see him doing all types of creative stuff, with peoples contracts, to make this happen, to be honest. We'll lose someone we don't want to lose, for sentimental reasons, but a D.Backfield of Revis/Aso, would result in A LOT of coverage sacks.

If Revis will rework his contract and Aso will take a bit less it could work. There are a lot of other needs though...
Who's willing to lose Harris and at least 1 of Braylon or Santonio in order to get him? We already know that limiting offenses on the outside doesn't stop them from passing on us. What are we going to do with TEs and slotbacks? Someone still has to cover those guys....and there were enough examples this season of plays in which Revis and Cromartie were manned up on 3rd down vs 4 and 5-wide sets, but teams converted anyway because they threw towards Coleman, Lowery, Wilson, Leonhard, Pool, Smith, etc... We need to pressure quarterbacks....nobody can cover forever.
Couldn't this work if we franchise tagged somebody? Maybe a receiver, then signed Harris and Aso? Cut JT and maybe cut or rework Woody and/or Jenkins. I think we could do it, but I don't know if we should.
