Jets should cut Tim Tebow

He's still of the belief that McElroy should be the backup.... lets all point and laugh shall we?

In all seriousness though, as long as he's not playing qb, Tebow will only be a positive for this team.

 

Boomer Esiason is one of the dumbest analysts in the NFL media. He has no business sitting behind that desk. He is almost worse than Herman Edwards.

 

Nothing new here... Boomer has never liked Tebow's game and is on record for that. He's now trapped in a corner and he hopes that Tebow would get cut, because if somehow he becomes the starter and wins, Boomer will be eating crow... again.

 

How that happening? When they said Tebow the back up?

 

By saying this, Boomer guaranteed himself a week's worth of mention on ESPN and in the blogosphere. When his two former teams play a preseason game this Friday, he will be all the talk, because he went so far as to say cut Tebow.

 

I have to agree with this. Sure Tebow brings a circus of media coverage with him, but his ability to run the wildcat and add running back depth outweighs it. No he's not a starting QB in an nfl offense right now, but we are not expecting him to be.

Boomer personifies the analyst that got showed up by Tebow every single week. He hates Tebow.

even more so because Tebow made him his bitch after the Steelers game, after all the crap and filth he spewed for a week he had to Tebow on national tv.

Boomer, there's a reason you couldn't hack being a QB on the Jets, stop being jealous because BOTH QBs will put up better numbers this year than you ever did. According to ESPN, Boomer says he would cut Tebow. I normally like what Boomer has to say, but IMO, this is an idiotic statement. He's been hanging around CC too long.
