Is there any in-depth analysis of Shonn Greene's runs last year? I'm sick and fed up with morons. Hell, I will do the analysis if anybody can supply me with the data I need.
I can't argue with the QB comment or RB comment, except for saying that we don't know for sure yet.... but ... Rex is not the problem, and he is clearly changing for the better; look at his criticism of Kerley; look at his recent interviews. Rex is one of the strongest components of our entire team right now. He's also one of the best (if not the best) defensive coach in the NFL. Our O-line will be top 5 if our new RT is healthy. It will remain abysmal if Hunter starts.... so we'll see. Our GM has been so much better than past Jets' GMs. Our drafts in the past 5 years have all been successes (or all will be, when everything is said and done). Although he does "spend for everyone", Tanny knows what he is doing and makes our team better, albeit with a few mistakes like every other GM. Your most ridiculous comment: We won't be 4th. There is no way we will end up worse than Miami.
I understand the idea of punishing the smaller defense, but in order to do that you need (1) a dominant OLine; (2) A dominant defense; and (3) the threat of a downfield passing attack. I'm not sure that we have all of those pieces in place, but perhaps it is just preseason jitters.
Dang, you guys have it down.... Unless we have a pro-bowl starter at every single position, with a pro-bowl alternate as their back up, there's no way we'll ever win a single game. We should probably just go ahead and fold the franchise. I sure am glad you Bills fans and SOJ geniuses showed up to keep us regular Jets fans on the straight and narrow....
I think this year Sanchez will be the man. With quote unquote Sanchez having a bad year last year he threw for 3400 yards and more Td's than the other 2 years and he has steadily been progressing. And thats with a bad line last year so imagine him with a line that gives him time to throw the ball. Also people knock on Greene when he had 1000 yards behind a terrible line so I think we have nothing but positive light ahead of us for this season. Some fans are never happy. Just like when we had Thomas Jones and he was a work horse grinding out yards we couldnt appreciate that. I myself fell victim to we need a more explosive back but if he gets the job done he gets it done.
