JStokes brought it up, as he always does .... that guy is a piece of work. Maybe he's really a teenager, so we should give him some time to mature and grow up. He sure acts like it.
At least the Jets didn't pick a QB in the 2nd or 3rd round. Petty is worth the risk in the 4th round.
That's so very ungodly of you. Remember tolerance and forgiveness over anger and retribution. Bless thine enemies don't attack them.
IM cool with it id rather build the f*** out of everything else approach but its a QB why not. TJ Clemmings would have been my pick but maybe they like the OL depth and are worried about his injury. The main thing is this isn't going to prevent us from choosing a QB like say Cardale Jones next year just because we chose Bryce Petty this year.
Mr. Truth, What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever seen. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on this board is now dumber for having read your post. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
My father's family is descended from French Huguenots, so I am living proof of why there are so many Catholics. Forcible conversion does that for ya. I guess I should thank a Catholic for getting the chance to be an American http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Bartholomew's_Day_massacre
This is to everyone, Glennon sucks theres a reason TB just chose Jameis on Thursday he's not good lets just get a QB next year
Really?!? I have never commented on the religious banter on this site but please, PLEASE get this bible thumping BS out of a f'n Bryce Petty thread!
Stokes, you need to stop this shit. I'm not a believer, and IMO half of 4U's postings are full of shit, but this attitude of your is plainly offensive. He has as much right to believe in God as you and I have to not believe. It has nothing to do with discussions.
Stokes has that "I get banned on Internet message boards for losing my cool over something someone I've never met said" type of attitude. It used to be funny, now it's just old. You can thank him for this thread turning to shit.
Back on topic: I'm 50/50 on this pick. I would have liked to address the OL instead but I understand why they want to draft a QB pretty much every year. You sort of have to when you're in the situation we are in. I will say I'm glad we didn't use a 3rd rounder on one and probably wouldn't have been able to get someone as good in the 5th so, from that perspective, it's not a bad pick.
That is a very narrow, misunderstood view of history. I could post countless articles on all of the great, charitable works the Catholic Church has done, and continues to do, worldwide. You can thank the Church for health care and education, btw, both started by the Catholic Church. Before that you would have had to have been nobility or filthy rich to have access to either. The Catholic Church does more good worldwide than any government, or any other organization, could ever hope to do. That's why it's been so popular throughout the centuries, not a small example of an event in history affecting a very very small group of people. And from Wikipedia no less, no chance that anti-Catholic wing nuts could twist the events of history lol....what qualifications does the author of that wikipedia article you cite have anyway?
